DCC on my On30" Module

DCC power is finally installed on the W&Q Ry.
This spring I got a second NCE power cab. It got installed on my On30" module. I have a DCC sound Forney that is my only power on the W&Q line. I was also hoping to use the controller as a second controller on the White River Division. As it turns out it will not work...I called NCE and they explained it to me but most of the tech stuff goes over my head. The WRD will be using a NCE 06 for a second controller....George Dutka

Vintage Ford`s - Greenfield Village

One of the many Ford trucks found on the grounds.
Here are a few views of Ford trucks and cars I saw last weekend. Some good modeling notes come to mind for truck boxes...George Dutka

A trio of vintage Ford trucks. The one to the right was originally used by the army. Modeling a puddle by a barn such as seen here would be a nice touch.
A parade of model T`s depart the loading station near the main gate. One can ride a model T if one wishes.

1931 Ford Bus - Greenfield Village

A mint condition 1931 Ford Model AA bus is a good way to get around Greenfield Village.
As a Maine two foot modeler a visit to Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Mi. this past weekend was very inspirational. One of my favorites was a ride in a 1931 bus. No seat-belts required as the seating was tight. Once two of you are in the seat there is no way one will get out. A really interesting ride. For more on the park check out my WRD blog...George Dutka

The driver is very informative about the bus and about the park. He is dressed in period clothing.
The 1931 bus is seen traveling along the streets of Greenfield.
A rear view of the bus.
A ride around the park in this vintage bus is 50 cents. If you want to ride in a model T Ford around Greenfield it will cost you $5.00.

Andover, Maine General Store

I added a few details to the front of the store. Woodland Scenic figures and dog, some BEST apples and a few fall pumpkins. I added a Coke sign which is not included in the kit. Bar Mills blinds are used in the windows.
The Andover, Maine general store will be covered in my White River Division blog shortly. Thought I would give you a few finished view. The kit was also covered in the WRD What`s in the box no.13. The only change I made to the Mount Blue Model Co. kit was I changed out the steel roofing for Northeastern slate shingles...George Dutka

Here is what comes in the box.
I added a fire alarm which Mount Blue Model Co. sell as a detail part.
The rear wall and steps. The side door is modeled part open.
