| All the details have been removed and a bit of track taken out before being cut to size. The backdrop is removed also and will not be used. The front skirting has been removed and cut to size for reuse. |
I spent a bit of time yesterday altering Peter Mumby's module that connects to mine. I want it to be one foot wide (it is 18" at the moment) to fit on my wall. I began by removing all the trees, details and a bit of trackage. I then ran it through my table saw from the top and then the bottom. Areas that it did not cut through my jig saw took care if it. I will shore up the cut area with a strip of Styrofoam shortly.
The layout will be all modules with most being done with a foam base. More on how it is going shortly. It was an end of the day project and time ran out...George Dutka
