Sandy River Flag Stop - Fairbanks

Two of the walls and details seen on top of the RMC article which is my inspiration for this project.

I decided to build a new flag stop in O scale for my planned larger diorama. I had a bit of leftover styrene sheeting which would work for the project and a mix of castings from my late friend Peter Mumby who gave me them back last year...George Dutka

The walls are all cut with my window and door being used.

The plans for this structure was published in RMC during the late 1960's.

Running Light

 

This winter at the Springfield train show I purchased a few Maine two-footer photos. This is one of them with two engines running light somewhere in Maine. No data was included on the back but interesting to see. You don't always have to include rolling stock on your train  running around your layout.
