A loot at the rear and roofing of my gas station. |
The FOS Scale model on display at this years Springfield, Ma. train show. |
My version of the roof. I did add some junk stored on the roof. Old license plates, boards, newspapers and signs. Some of the seams are patched with tar applied. |

FOS Scale Models O Scale Gas Station - Completed
My finished model turned out a lot better than I anticipated. A great kit to build and display. |
The side shed walls before the lumber is attached. Some of the boards on the main structure are pulled up. |
The shed walls are finished and ready for staining. |
The side structure is test fit and trim will be painted shortly. |
The sign sheeting is seen in the foreground. The gas pump island is almost done and will be glued in place. |
The gas pump is a detail needing assembly. |
Lots of signs and details are included with this kit. |
Some of the details laser cut and included in the kit. The barrel is a Tichy part also included. One needs to assemble the pop cooler, crate and electric meter. |

FOS O Scale Gas Station
An overall view of what one gets in a FOS kit. The plans are detailed and the location sheets are pretty good although I did find a couple of issues. |
Some Tichy barrels are included along with more than is needed stripwood. |
There is a lot of signage and detail parts to assemble. Just below the gas sign on the wood sheet cutout are 4 crates that need bending and gluing. |
