This comment was posted in a Maine On2 yahoo group that may help one regarding this photos.

The short tender is from Forney No. 9, the longer tender is from No. 18. Number 9's tender wasn't used as a water car or something, this photo was simply taken while scrapping of the locomotives was in progress. Number 9 is in pieces while scrapping is ongoing.
