| Some Bragdon rust and three PanPasels including a coal coarse powder is applied to the coal load. The others are Raw Umber Shade and Neutral Grey. |
| W&Q is finished. The engine was lettered using Sloan decals from decades ago. They still work well today. |
| I also added fine wire as the whistle and bell cords. |

It's nice, but in my mind the W&Q had more pride in their engines then reflected in this. Of course, I am basing that off of the lovely WW&F restored and recreated rolling stock.
ReplyDeleteThe engine is not a true W&Q engine anyway and it is modeled near it's end of service...so it shows its age. Yes I know what you are thinking...I always like seeing them new and clean when visiting the museum, but in real life they were not that way at all...George
